Digital advertising, a.k.a online advertising, is a type of marketing that uses the Internet to deliver messages, of promotions, rebates, and more! It can be sponsored ads as well, as non sponsored.
To start, I really like shopping for clothes, either online, or in a physical store.
A few months ago, I came across an online store called DressLily.com. Don’t get fooled; they don’t sell only dresses or clothes. They also sell carpets, pillows, mats, tapestries, etc. Especially since Christmas is coming soon, it is sure to be decorated for the holidays!

This store is solely online, which is in itself, an advantage, because its target audience, which are millennials and Gen Z mostly, are the technology generation. There are lots of coupons and the prices are affordable, and probably in budgets! I think they are more affordable than the actual physical stores!
I actually didn’t mind what type of apparel category it was, whether it was a sweater, a dress, a top, or anything else, so when I saw a sponsored ad on Instagram for a cold tunic shoulder sweater, I couldn’t help myself.

As you can see in the above picture, all I had to do was enter a coupon number to get a certain percentage/markdown off the original cost, which is usually how this site works as well. Judging by the number of comments and shares, it’s pretty popular!
I also saw sponsored ads of this site on Facebook, sometimes for the same product, or a different one, however, still some type of sweater. The social media platforms can track my likes and pages I follow (which are mostly apparel), so they can give me the best results possible, in regards to sponsored ads.
In terms of buying decisions, I was hesitant because since it is online, you can never be sure it will come as you expected, but it is really convenient, plus, they almost never make mistakes. All the materials are really good, in my opinion, and it’s not too pricey and in my budget, so that’s another advantage.
